About Mrs. Berg
As of February, 2014, I have been an educator of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for almost 27 years. I have taught all age levels from 3 years through high school in all subject areas. I like all the subjects, but I have a special interest in Science and Reading.
Teaching all subjects to a multitude of levels can force a teacher to look for the most efficient way to organize curriculum and resources for quick and easy reference and with a high level of effectiveness. That is where my love of technology in education was born.
I became a part of the Do The Math team in the spring of 2012, as a videophone math tutor for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I have made presentations for concurrent sessions at the annual Computer Using Educator's (CUE) Conference since 2010. I have also made a presentations at the California Educator's of the Deaf Conference since 2012. In 2009, Kern CUE began organizing an annual local conference and I have been part of the planning team every year. I also hold a Leading Edge for the Digital Educator certification.
